| In order to participate in any ABV Kayak activity, the participant must know how to swim. Children under 16 years of age must have authorization from a parent. The participant must be in good health. A participant with any medical condition (prescriptions, allergies, diseases, or physical conditions) must advise his or her instructor before the start of any activity. The consumption of drugs or alcohol before and during any activity is strictly prohibited. |

| Even in ideal conditions, the introduction to the sport of kayaking demands a moderate level of physical effort. The participant must take into account and prepare for the weather for instance; hot and low temperatures, cold water, and the sun's intensity. These are all factors that could demand a higher level of effort during your activity. |
