| Beginner I - Introduction to kayaking |

This course is specifically designed to give participants a first look at the fundamentals of white-water kayaking in a secure environment. Through theoretical workshops and practical exercises in calm water, the student familiarizes him or herself with the basic techniques of white water kayaking under constant observation from the instructor.
Techniques such as; paddle strokes needed to move forward, to turn, and to stabilize your kayak, and most importantly: the Eskimo roll. The prospective kayaker will also learn about the specific terminology as well as the equipment necessary to get started in this spectacular sport. |

| This course includes: |

- Equipment (kayak, skirt, paddle, helmet and life jacket)
- 5 hours of lessons along a 7km section of the Rouge River
- A certified instructor
- Shuttle to and from the river, if necessary
- 6 student limit per instructor
- 2 meals included new!
- Complete wet-suit new!
